This story of boxer Jake LaMotta is interesting and
well acted by Robert DeNiro, but I wasn't as impressed
as I thought I would be. I have always heard that raging
bull is like one of the best movies ever, but it was just
barely engaging. I mean, maybe I have been watching too many
Robert-DeNiro-is-the-man-movies lately, but by the end of the
movie I was just sick of the attitude. Maybe that is what I was
supposed to feel. I was just fine with whatever happened to him
at the end. I hardly even cared by the end. I am pretty sure it
is based on the true story of J.LM. but I was like, why would you
even want to make a movie of a jerk like that. I don't know, usually
I can appreciate a 'good story' but I was just sick of this one. Let's see
how many times can we watch him lose his temper, beat his wife,
then go box. Or vice versa. I can and do appreciate good movies
and good actors. I thought the cinematography was really interesting
and well done, R.dN. was excellent, but it just dragged.
The only interesting thing I've read about this movie is that they used
hershey's chocolate syrup for the blood. hmm....that would be sticky.

-If you like movies like Rocky.
-If you are a huge fan of Robert DeNiro.
-If you are a huge fan of depressing Martin Scorcese movies.
-If you love watching boxing.
That's it.
