* of five i'm embarrassed to admit
So last night we flipped a coin.
This old movie we borrowed from
the store where Don works or else
a taped movie off TV about two star
crossed east indian lovers. Definately
should have gone for the TV movie.
But addicts will be addicts. It's a
very, very, very bad movie that I will
not finish watching. And hey, Jared
Leto's not too hard on my eyes either.
But holy moses, predictable! I mean,
I guess that's obvious with a tag line like:
"The hunter is tracking the killer.
But the killer is setting the trap."
ooooh, i am SO enthralled. please.
Really, who sees this movie and is
like "Oh! OH! I n-e-e-d to make a movie
out of this golden plotline!" Actually,
it's probably the person who worked
opposite that person that said, "Um....
I think we'd better hire Jared Leto."
One of the few things that I enjoyed in
the movie, once you begin laughing at
it instead of "with" it, is I have always
gotten the feeling from Danny Glover
that he could be the bad guy, but he
always turns out to, of course be the
ever-loyal wonderful good guy. I bet
he took this role, just so he could finally
play that bad guy instead of Mel Gibson's
best friend. Good evil sparkle in those
eyes, Mr.Glover. Well, you can't love
every movie when you see a couple a
day(and especially not when it's the
next movie after P&P!)
I don't really think this one deserves any
rants or extra comments except that I would
watch it (And I also recommend it over
these ones as well!) over these movies:
Lucky Numbers
Small Time Crooks
Big Momma's House
